The Piano Bar attracts locals and tourist alike. We have a rotating line up that makes it worthwhile checking out any night of the week. From the professional to the tenderfoot, from the professional jazz muso to the show town pianist, to the student trying to find his or her voice. We have them all. We have a cover charge most nights to assist us with keeping the MUSIC ALIVE!

Mattias Nilsson & Sharon Clark

R85Afro-American jazz vocalist Sharón Clark and Nordic pianist Mattias Nilsson met in 2012 at a Jazz club in New York. Musical love arose from the first note and two years later Nilsson arranged for Sharon to do her first tour in Sweden with his trio. The tour became an immediate success with sold-out concerts and ever since then, Sharón has been touring Sweden and Europe almost Bi-annually.

Francois Botha is pianist living and working in Cape Town, South Africa and is active in the classical, jazz and popular music scenes.

Nina’s music can at best be described as global – which combines a variety of different styles and influences. She fuses afro soul, jazz, pop and even house music.

A vibrant artist who has worked abroad for many decades. She brings us sounds from Jazz, R&B, Motown, Cabaret and Soul – funk.

He makes his music the way he lives life: from ballads to bow ties, he’s quirky, fun, nerdy and energetic, but with understated elegance and a hint of the classic dapper gentleman.
