After studying Music at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University the couple settled in Belville in the Western Cape, where he works as a full time performer and a private music teacher. He won his spot on #TeamLira in the Blind auditions performing Ellie Goulding’s smash hit “Love Me Like You Do”. “You grabbed me with that performance,” Lira explained. “I believed every word you said, you were so sincere and I’m so thrilled that you’re on Team Lira!”

Francois Botha is pianist living and working in Cape Town, South Africa and is active in the classical, jazz and popular music scenes.
Nina’s music can at best be described as global – which combines a variety of different styles and influences. She fuses afro soul, jazz, pop and even house music.
