Its time to dust off your big hair, blue eye shadow, your fly style and come DISCO into the new year with THE PIANO BAR.
Join us in the De Waterkant ‘village’ for an exclusive evening surrounded by friends (new and old). Space is limited so that all who attend aren’t packed in like sardines. We want you to be comfortable!
Live performance by THE UMLILO JAZZ BAND followed by DJ’s Boeta Gee and Rozzano. This duo will add flavour to our dance party and celebration leading up to the countdown and beyond.
Complimentary glass of bubbles and oysters on arrival followed by a selection of hand picked canapes..

<> 2 DJs spinning disco (on Vinyl) and other funk hits until 2am following the band

<> Oyster bar - 2 per person served with plum tomato and caper dressing
<> Mezze board – Homemade hummus, baba Ganoush, tzatziki, basil and garlic slow roasted cherry tomatoes served with homemade zepoli’s (little Italian breads)

<> Smoked Norwegian salmon Tartar – Honey and mustard cold smoked Norwegian salmon, flaked and seasoned with red onion, capers, flat leaf parsley, served with celeriac remoulade (spoons)
<> Tuna ceviche – diced raw tuna seasoned with fresh squeezed lime juice, red chili ginger and coconut milk garnished with fresh avocado and coriander
<> Tempura tiger prawn – tiger prawn deep fry’d tempura batter served with sweet chili sauce garnished with fresh coriander

<> Lamb Zepoli – Slow roast pulled shoulder of lamb seasoned with deluxe coffee, cayenne pepper and cinnamon rolled In bread dough and oven baked served with cucumber and mint tzatziki
<> Braised beef short rib with cola and paprika – Short rib of beef marinated with coca cola paprika and cumin slow braised
<> Soft and sweet crumbed mushrooms – A mix of Portobello, button and porcini mushrooms sauté with fresh herbs and whole grain mustard crumbed and deep fry’d served with an emmentaler and cream fondue

<> Baked Apple and Blue Berry Tart – Green apples baked with vanilla, brown sugar and butter with fresh blue berries mixed in to burst. Served in a rich butter pastry case

<> Lavender Brule, Vanilla Shortbread Super creamy baked custard flavored with Homegrown Lavender served with homemade vanilla flavored Shortbread
