Grace has been told that she has a unique vocal sound as well as musical style, prompting her to experiment with different genres of music. Rock, Indie, Pop, Country crossover, 80s, Motown and R&B are her main influences, performing catchy, fun pop melodies and lyrics she has written or covered. ETUK BTONG

Born and raised in Lagos, trumpeter Etuk Ubong (24) first started playing music at the age of 14 and studied under Etop Adolphors and Victor Ademofe. He is currently enrolled for a performer’s diploma in jazz studies at the University of Cape Town and studied jazz at the Peter King College of Music, and classical music at the Muson School of Music in Lagos. Apart from performing at the top jazz venues in Nigeria and festivals like the Lagos Jazz Festival and Abuja Jazz Festival, Ubong has performed extensively throughout Africa in countries like Senegal, Benin and Ghana. In South Africa his quartet has played at all the top live jazz clubs like The Orbit, The Crypt, Straight No Chaser, Afrikan Freedom Station and Sophiatown The Mix. In 2015 his composition, Miracle, was performed at the London Jazz Festival as part of the On Mass project headed by Jamie Cullum and in 2016 he was featured as soloist at the Artscape Youth Jazz Festival. This year, he will be performing at the Abuja Jazz Festival 2016 and the Heritage Jazz Festival 2016. Additionally, he is a member of the International Trumpet Guild and represented Africa at its 2015 conference in Columbus and has performed with world-renowned musicians including Victor Olaiya, Femi Kuti, the Gangbé Brass Band, Pat Harbison, Ansyn Banks, Nduduzo Makhathini and many more. Brittany Dilkes Duo

These two musicians perform regularly around Cape Town, and their soulful repertoire consist of jazz standards, bluesy covers as well as originals. Influenced by Diana Krall, amongst other artists, this jazz duo provide three smoking sets that should not be missed. Come enjoy a lazy Sunday with us.
